Swim Rags is an open platform for the creative community. We actively seek out emerging talent and give aspiring models, photographers, writers, musicians, and artists the kind of editorial exposure that builds real careers. If you have something worth sharing, this is where it belongs.
Who We Feature
We publish work from aspiring and established creatives across five areas:
Models — Swimwear, beach fashion, lifestyle, and editorial. We feature model profiles, portfolio spotlights, and Her Story features for women with a journey worth sharing.
Photographers — Swimwear, fashion, lifestyle, travel, and documentary photography. We go behind the lens with the artists whose work defines the Swim Rags visual world.
Writers — Essays, personal narratives, travel writing, creative fiction, poetry, and culture commentary connected to the beach and water lifestyle.
Musicians & Bands — Emerging artists whose sound captures the spirit of sun, water, and freedom. We cover everything from acoustic beach sessions to full band profiles.
Visual Artists — Illustrators, painters, digital artists, and creatives whose work connects to coastal culture, lifestyle, and the beach aesthetic.
What We’re Looking For
We publish work that is authentic, visual, and story-driven. We are not looking for perfection — we are looking for genuine creative voice and the drive to build something. Our readers are creatives themselves. They recognize real.
How to Submit
Email your submission to: [your submissions email]
Include the following:
- Your name and location
- Your category (model, photographer, writer, musician, artist)
- A brief bio (100 words max)
- Your work — photos, writing samples, music links, portfolio URL
- Your social media handles
- A note on what you’re working on right now and where you want to go
There is no submission fee. There is no guarantee of publication. Every submission is reviewed personally.

We don’t pay submission fees and we don’t charge for features. What we offer is platform, exposure, and the credibility that comes with being documented.
Shoot With Us
If you are a model or photographer interested in shooting for Swim Rags editorial content, mention it in your submission. We organize shoots on an ongoing basis and are always looking to collaborate with the right people. Models shooting for Swim Rags editorial have access to product from the Swim Rags swimwear collection for the shoot.
Response Time
We review all submissions and aim to respond within 14 days. Due to volume we cannot provide individual feedback on submissions we are unable to use. If you don’t hear from us within 21 days, feel free to follow up once.
